How to Use This Calculator

  1. Set your odds format (Decimal, Fractional, or American)
  2. Input your total stake
  3. Input the odds for each selection
  4. Assign a result to each leg: Won, Lost, or Void
  5. Append further selections via the + button
  6. Read off the combined odds, total return, and profit

Note: A single lost selection collapses the entire accumulator. Void selections are computed as odds of 1.0 (i.e., refunded).

Formula

Combined Odds = Odds₁ x Odds₂ x Odds₃ x … (all decimal odds multiplied)

Total Return = Stake x Combined Odds

Profit = Total Return - Stake

Void legs are removed from the calculation (odds become 1.0). If any leg loses, the total return is $0.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is an accumulator bet?

An accumulator (or acca) folds several selections into a single wager. Every selection has to win for the bet to return anything. The odds compound multiplicatively, so a small stake can generate sizeable returns.

What happens when one leg is voided?

A voided selection (for example, a postponed match) is dropped from the accumulator, and the bet proceeds on the remaining legs at correspondingly reduced odds.

What is the maximum number of selections in an accumulator?

There is no hard mathematical ceiling, though most bookmakers limit accumulators to roughly 20 selections. A 2-fold is termed a double, a 3-fold a treble, and 4 or more is typically labelled an accumulator.
